Kotokura LLC develops the Kotokura iPhone application and operates this website. This policy describes the information handled by this website and explains features planned for the application. We will review and update this policy before the public app launch to match the released functionality.

This website

This informational website has no contact form, subscriber database, advertising pixels, or account registration. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and security-related records, to serve and protect the website under its own policies.

Kotokura application

Kotokura is designed around a personal collection of words and word-related preferences. Local app data can include saved words, notes, lists, progress, and selected artwork. Apple private iCloud synchronization is planned for the initial release. When enabled, information stored in a user’s private iCloud database is managed through the user’s Apple Account and Apple's CloudKit service. App purchases, if offered, are processed through Apple.

Analytics and services

The final app may use Apple's platform services for distribution, purchases, reliability diagnostics, and synchronization. We will disclose any additional analytics, services, or data practices before publication.
